Arrangement in Green / Pastel / 22"x20"

In 1968 I did an oil still life with an oriental figurine, some flowers and other objects, and I focused a green light on the arrangement in much the same manner as my teacher often did. Forty years later, I decided to reprise the idea in pastel. Except for the blue glass ball, which I did use in the original arrangement, the other objects were similar but different. Amazingly, I still had the same green light bulb after all those years, and it worked! This painting won First Place in the Signature Division of the 2008 PSWC Membership Exhibit in Vacaville, CA.
