The Tapia Children / Oil / 32"x30"
This was an interesting commission because it was meant to be a Father's Day gift. The mother of these two children was afraid they would "spill the beans" and ruin the suprise if she brought them to my house. I was actually working from a photo that their father had taken, but I needed to see them first-hand so the mother arranged for us to meet in the park and pretend I was a casual aquaintance so I could observe the children for awhile.

After Father's Day, they brought the kids to my house where I did a few minutes of adjustment on the portrait to bring it to their satisfaction.
