I was asked to contribute a recent self-portrait to a special exhibit by a gallery in Hayward, California.
Since time was short, I set up my large mirror and started on the portrait the last day of 1999.
I continued working on it New Year's day (after the football games of course) and finished it the day after that.
I call it my "Millinium Portrait" because I was literally working on it during those days the calendar
changed from 1999 to 2,000. I know, technically the millinium changed when the year went from 2,000 to 2,001...but don't confuse me with the facts! |
