The Parasol / Pastel / 23.5"x17"	Some fourteen years after I painted an oil called "Li with Parasol", which was bought by a lady who attended a workshop I was teaching, I decided to do a pastel version. I needed something for the 2008 PSWC National Pastel Exhibition at the Haggin Museum in Stockton, California where it won an award. In 2009 it won A First Place Award in pastel at the Society of Western Artists 59th Annual Exhibition in Redwood City, California.
